01. TRANSPORT RESERVATION:
  • When requesting a transfer from the home to the airport and vice versa, the company or private individual either contacts taxidio.be by telephone, or the request is sent to taxidio.be by email. Each request is preferably made on the usual form that can be found on our website under reservation.
  • Each reservation is confirmed by email by taxidio.be, after which taxidio.be undertakes to carry out the transport in accordance with the modalities of these general terms and conditions.
  • The customer checks the confirmation before departure and submits any comments or changes in writing to taxidio.be. In the event of incorrect information provided by the customer, taxidio.be always has the right to cancel the transfer or charge any expenses.
  • A reservation is only final once it has been confirmed by us for approval!!!
  • If you provide us with incorrect information (e.g. departure time abroad instead of arrival time in Belgium) we cannot guarantee that a driver will be available!!!
  • You may take as much baggage as is allowed for your flight. 1 piece of luggage and 1 piece of hand luggage are allowed per person. Extra luggage must be reported in advance!!!!! If you are taking extra luggage with you, you must mention this when making your reservation. If you have no luggage or only hand luggage, please also report this so that we can take this into account.
  • The persons to be transported will be collected by taxidio.be from the address stated in the order at least 3 hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight. If necessary due to unforeseeable traffic jams, crowds, road works and/or weather conditions, the persons to be transported can be contacted directly by taxidio.be to adjust the collection time.
  • Any changes to the reservation must always be recorded by email.
  • Highchairs are always provided FREE of charge. Please reserve them in advance and provide us with the age/kg of the children, so that we can provide the suitable seat in the car.
02. PAYMENT OPTIONS: ​
  • You are always asked to pay in cash upon departure. This means the total amount there and back (if booked) incl. VAT. If an invoice is required, it will be sent after returning home.
  • Companies can also pay in cash or by transfer. After the order, an invoice is drawn up and emailed to the customer or company.
  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all our invoices must be paid in cash or at least on the stated due date and without discount. In the event of non-payment or late payment of the invoice, late payment interest will be due by operation of law and without prior notice of default. of 1% per month, as well as a lump sum compensation of 12% with a minimum of 50 euros.
  • Companies also have the option to pay after receiving the invoice. This must be stated when requesting transport, together with the billing address and the VAT number.
  • Payments via credit card must be requested in advance.
03.DEPARTURE:
  • The persons to be transported will be collected by taxidio.be at the address specified in the order at least 3 hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight. The approximate time of collection is communicated on the written confirmation by taxidio.be.
  • In the event of unforeseeable traffic jams, crowds, road works and/or weather conditions, taxidio.be can change the pick-up time to ensure that the planning runs smoothly. If unforeseen circumstances arise during the transfer, taxidio.be cannot be held liable on any grounds whatsoever for any damage caused by force majeure.
  • To make our rides run as smoothly as possible, we expect our customers to be ready at the agreed time.
  • Deviations up to 15 minutes earlier or later are always possible and if we have to drive during exceptional circumstances such as traffic jams, strikes, road works or bad weather.
  • If we are forced to leave early due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be informed of this as soon as possible.
  • You will be offered non-combined transport as standard. I.e. that there will be no stop along the way to pick up anyone else (unless one of your traveling companions). An additional stop costs €15.
04.ARRIVAL:
  • When collected at the arrival location, the persons to be transported must always look for a sign with the taxidio.be logo, on the left in the arrival hall at Quick (Airport - Zaventem)
  • The persons to be transported undertake, if they are not on the designated flight to Zaventem, to immediately inform taxidio.be of this. In the event of a major change in the arrival and/or departure time, the persons to be transported must also immediately inform taxidio.be of this. If taxidio.be is not informed in a timely manner, the full price will be due, plus, if necessary, the waiting hours and the cost price for the useless/in vain relocation by taxidio.be.
  • If your flight is advanced or delayed upon arrival, we will always give priority to our customers who are leaving for a trip and who of course should not miss their flight! We do everything possible to limit any waiting times as much as possible.
  • If you experience any problems with your luggage or any other inconvenience after landing, we kindly ask you to inform us by telephone.
ANIMAL TRANSPORT
  • Live animals may, except as provided in the following paragraph of this article, be carried in an easily portable basket, bag or similar object that can be placed down or held on the lap. However, dogs may also be transported in other ways, provided they are kept on a short leash.
  • The animals referred to in the first paragraph may not be taken along if they could in any way be difficult or inconvenient for the Traveler or the Driver or if they suffer from a serious illness.
  • Assistance dogs, such as guide dogs, must be taken along under all circumstances.
  • If a Driver is allergic, he/she must provide alternative transportation.
TERMINATION AND CANCELLATION OF TRANSPORT AGREEMENT:
  • The agreement can be changed, dissolved or canceled at any time by the company, private individual or the persons to be transported, subject to payment of a lump sum compensation of:
  • - You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the pick-up time.
  • - Less than 24 hours prior to pick-up time, full one-way fare will be charged.
  • taxidio.be may, without compensation, terminate the agreement in whole or in part if extraordinary circumstances arise before or during the execution of the contract, which taxidio.be could not have known at the time of concluding the contract and, if taxidio.be had known this, was a valid reason not to conclude the agreement.
  • Costs resulting from damage or soiling caused by the customer will be charged. The amount of €150 will have to be paid immediately to the driver.
  • taxidio.be is liable for the damage suffered by the person to be transported due to total or partial non- or defective execution of the agreement, except for force majeure and unless taxidio.be demonstrates that it has taken all necessary and useful precautions to ensure the transfer runs smoothly. to be carried out in accordance with the best efforts obligation imposed on taxidio.be. Under no circumstances can the airline be held liable for shortcomings on the part of taxidio.be. All complaints in this regard will be addressed directly to taxidio.be. For all requirements regarding Taxidio.be cannot be held liable for delays and/or missing of the flight due to force majeure, fault of a third party, own fault of the company, the private individual or the person to be transported.
  • taxidio.be is insured in accordance with the legal provisions regarding the transport of persons and has the necessary permits.
  • All price quotes only bind us for 1 month, unless a different term is expressly determined in writing and are subject to revisions if the prices of the means of production increase.
  • We reserve the right to unilaterally change our terms and conditions at any time. The terms are non-negotiable.
  • In the event of disputes, only the courts of the jurisdiction where taxidio.be's registered office is located
  • These general conditions of carriage have been read and accepted when booking.
